Hi Brenda,
I am Michelle Annette Bowen (nee Dwane)
am wanting to no more about your Dwane
family background as I think our
families are connected.
My father was Stephen Francis Dwane
his father John Dwane also known as Jack.
I read your posting to my father and he
said that that was his family.
His father John was an overseer at the p.o
as was his father.Aso the name Roddy is familiar.
John Dwane had two sisters who became nuns my mum
told me she thinks one of them was Margret.
They are both buried within the grounds of
a catholic church in Ireland.
He also had maybe three brothers im not sure, if I can
find the photo of John, his parents and siblings
I will some how put it on this site.
