Here is some history of the Dyckman family as posted on the Boscobel Historic Restoration website. When it was near demolition, Boscobel, the ancestral home of the Dyckman family, had been moved piece meal to a beautiful site twenty miles north in Garrison, NY (closer to Cold Spring) overlooking Constitution island and the Hudson River.
