This has been a cluster since it first began as people just put together whatever, for along time I thought Avery was her father, But Since done of the DNA matches the Dye and it won't because Thomas had an unknown Father, that his DNA does not match the Barber DNA, and The Father in unknown any tie to Sarah parents is only speculation, as there do not seem to be any court records that can lead one to believe who her father is for sure. I have done extensive research on this line, and any time to Thomas Dye in SC is also speculative at this point, because Sarah was the name most given to first born woman in this linage. But We know Thomas came to SC about 1770 according to land deeds, he was likely there a few years before, he fathered a few known Dyes in SC.
But we have no 100% clue that he is in any way related to his fellow born in North Farnham Parish.
That is pure speculation and originated from me as a THEORY.
