I am saying Thomas Dye of SC his DNA does not match the Martin/Avery Dye line DNA or the Charles Barber Line DNA
so if Thomas Dye of SC is the son of Sarah Dye b. 1721 in North Farnham Parish, then yes...Barber is ruled out.
We can not find any DYE dna that matches either.
Which lends me further to speculate that he is the Thomas Dye born there who is not a DYE Nor Barber.
I did find a record that was an interogation into the ownership of Barbers land that indicated a Thomas Dye owned land adjacent to his? This could be Sarah's Father, brother or a Dye Barber was close to that was related, that could be the reason why Mr. Barber helped her out with the Bastardy Bond also, to help a neighbor, perhaps he and Thomas Dye were friends and maybe Thomas Dye died and he was helping his Daughter , the facts are sketchy,.
