Which Dye family are you from. Mine is from Thomas Dye born 1821 Virginia, Private John Dye born 1740 Va, fought in SC lived in Chester County, SC, Married Anges McGowen, Anges Ferguson died Chester SC 1825 Henry Dye born 1771 Chester County, SC died 1808 Rutherford County, NC Married Anna Washburn, had Sarah 1790, John 1794, Thomas 1799, William 1799 stayed in NC, Angie 1801, Gilbert 1803 My family is from Gilbert.
