Greg,

Hello, I'm the ggg granddaughter of Burrell Dye and I'm at a standstill in my research since I've discovered it could go in two possible directions: 1) Brown Dye, son of Vincent Dye or 2) James Brown Dye, son of William Dye (who descended from the Martin Dye branch).

My question is on the Y-DNA test how many markers did you use to verify Brown Dye to Vincent. Obviously I could not take the DNA test, but I might be able to find a male relative who could. It would be interesting to do a comparison.
