Yes! Yes! James Seaborn Dyess was my grandmother's (Betty Virginia Dyess George) brother. He was almost like a second grandfather to my brother and I. We knew him well. We have some photos, too. He is buried in an unmarked grave in Roganville, Tx. (north of Kirbyville). I can tell you a whole lot about Uncle Sebe, his brothers and sisters, his mother and background. He was an interesting character and my brother and my parents and I mention him often. In fact, he lived with my grandparents for a while when I was a child.
