Preston, the Jack Dyess you listed was H. Jack Dyess, who was killed at Murfreesboro. He had married Mary Ann Revel. Their daughter, Mary Elizabeth Dyess, b. 1861, GA, also married a Fillingim, namely Adolphus Theodore Fillingim, b. 1861, d. 1912. He was the son of Robert Samuel Fillingim of Coffee Co. GA. I didn't know about the ladies listed as Fillingam, but I'm sure with that name, they are closely related!
