Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Preston, the Jack Dyess you listed was H. Jack Dyess, who was killed at Murfreesboro. He had married Mary Ann Revel. Their daughter, Mary Elizabeth Dyess, b. 1861, GA, also married a Fillingim, namely Adolphus Theodore Fillingim, b. 1861, d. 1912. He was the son of Robert Samuel Fillingim of Coffee Co. GA. I didn't know about the ladies listed as Fillingam, but I'm sure with that name, they are closely related!
