My ggrandmother's sisters, Mira Jane Burk and Amanda Burk both from Bienville Parish, Louisiana married DYESS brothers, James Patton Dyess and John Jackson Dyess. When james Patton Dyess died she married David Pearce. They moved to Bell County, Tx around 1868. Later John Jackson Dyess moved to same area. Don't know if it was to be close to Mira Jane or not. Would love any information on Dyess family from Bell County, Tx
