Colleen: Our line of Dyess people have spelled the name of DYESS in every manner that you have posted. George Dyess (all spellings!!!!!) is all in our Dyess line. There are some people on the DYESS website at MyFamily.Com that have done a lot of research. I am sending you an invitation to the website and there you can post this question.
