Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I, too, am a descendant of Henry of Bath. Yes, we seem to be at a dead ed at Henry, but we have come across Dyess records in Maryland and Virginia going back to the 1600's. I am trying to connect the dots...If you want to check out (google)Pioneers and Cavaliers, I believe you will find
info there under the spelling of Dyas. There are several records of land transactions available on the Dyess family website at myfamily.com. Are you a member? The website is divided among the six brothers, sons of John Dyess and Violater Beasley. John is Henry's son.
If you need an invitation, let me know. We have tons of info.
My email is pady51@sbcglobal.net
