I, too, am a descendant of Henry of Bath. Yes, we seem to be at a dead ed at Henry, but we have come across Dyess records in Maryland and Virginia going back to the 1600's. I am trying to connect the dots...If you want to check out (google)Pioneers and Cavaliers, I believe you will find
info there under the spelling of Dyas. There are several records of land transactions available on the Dyess family website at myfamily.com. Are you a member? The website is divided among the six brothers, sons of John Dyess and Violater Beasley. John is Henry's son.
