Hi Carol,
Sounds like you are having a bit of a rough time. I had cancer about four years ago. They removed half of my colon and then pt me through chemo. I must say that working on my ancestry was one of the few things I could do and it helped me get through the bad times.
Thanks for saying I could use the info because I checked my update on the myfamily site this morning (we get up updates posted every day, automatically) and lo and behold, they were talking about the Huguenots!!! I will post the pertinent part of your email to see if it helps anyone.
You say you are descended from Martin Dye. What years are we talking about? We have traced our tree back to Henry of Bath, as we call him because he lived in Bath,North Carolina, who died in 1737 in Beaufort County, NC, but we have no info on siblings or parents.....
