Update to my post of several years ago..... The stones at Sand Pond Cemetery that read "In Memoriam to our Mother Mrs GW Diass" is the burial place of Siney Jo Peterson Dyess (c 1868-1905), and "In memory of Our Fother GW Diass" is the burial place of George W. Dyess (c 1858-c 1910). They were married c 1888.

Siney Jo was the daughter of Timothy Peterson (c 1828-1914) and Celia Johnson.

George W. was the son of Moses and Kesiah Dyess.

The spellings in the cemetery are Dyess, Dias, and Diass, but they are all descended from Moses and Kesiah.

I am looking for more information on the ancestry and descendants from this family.
