I am a descendent of Henry Dyess b. 1755 in Barnwell County, SC and Winnifred Boyett through their daughter Sabra Dyess b. 1787 who married Jehu Murray on 30 Aug 1808 in Liberty County, Ga. I do not have information on the ancestry of Henry Dyess or his wife Winnifred Boyett. I would like to exchange information on these lines with other "cousins" who have a similar interest. I have a fair amount of data on the descendents of Sabra Dyess Murray. Also, I have all 10 Vols of "Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia" by Folks Huxford and The Huxford Genealogical Society of Homerville, GA. These volumes provide much good data on this family line but contain several inaccuracies; neverthe less they certainly are a good starting point for research. I was born and raised in Ware County, Georgia and now live in Texas. ( )
