Your ancestor, Henry Dyess who m: Winnifred Boyett, is the son of John (Dias) Dyess & Violator Beasley. John is the son of Henry Dias & Mary unknown.

This Henry Dias d: May 1738, Bath Co, NC. Mary d: Dec 1737, Bath Co, NC.

John (Dias) Dyess was b: abt 1737, Bath Co, NC, d: 1790, Barnwell Co, SC. Violator Beasley Dyess b: Craven Co, NC, d: 1795, Barnwell Co, SC.

Henry was the first of six sons of John & Violator. (They are known as "The Six Dyess Brother's" After Henry (RWS) is John RWS,; William RWS (my ancestor), Thomas, Christopher R "Kit", & George W. Dyess.
