Debra,

Thanks for your information. I had always thought I was a descendent of Henry Dyess and Winnifred Boyett, but now I am not so certain. It appears that my ggg grandmother, Sabra Dyess, may be a daughter of John Dyess and lst wife ??? Green,a daughter of John Green and Sabra ???. That certainly makes sense to me now; inasmuch as, she named her first born child and son, John Green Murray.

I sent Chuck Dyess an e-mail to which he responded tonight. He referred me to Pam Trammel in Texarkana, TX but did not have an e-mail address handy for her. Hopefully, I will locate her e-mail address soon. I certainly would like to acquire one of her books. If anyone out there can give me Pam's e-mail I would be indebted to him or her.

I just wanted to thank you for having responded to my inquiry on genforum and getting me on the right tract to other cousins. By the way I noticed that Chuck Dyess is living in Thomasville, GA. That is only about 70-100 miles from where I grew up near Waycross, GA. I now live in Burkburnett, TX.
