I have similar names from the Essex Co., VA area. There may be some connection. I have a copy of an article from "Tyler's Quarterly Magazine" that reflects the Dyke family in Essex Co., VA from the mid 1600's up to through the 1800's. In that article, the author mentions that Boulware (Bowler) and Rachel Dyke (m. about 1780) have seven children. Of those seven, one son was named Thomas and another Miskel. [The Thomas here would be too old to match your Thomas, but could be a family name.] Miskel (m. about 1816) had a son named Henry. [Your Henry was b about 1824 which could be a mathch.] However, there is no further info on either Thomas or Henry.
