Aaron Dyke b. 1822, Mass. In Il 1850 to 70

Does anyone know of the Aaron Dyke who was born 1822 Mass. and living in Mason co. Il in 1850 and then Sangamon county 1860 and 1870. Two of his daughters were Polly Dike and Juliette. One married an Eckhardt and one married a Robert Self or Shelf 1880's or 1890's. Is Aaron related to the other Dyke's who lived in and around Il. How is he related? He married Mrs. Cordelia Jones in 1869 in Sangamon co and had 2 Jones children living with him. He had a son William Dyke born about 1862 or 1863. Was that really his son or a nephew?
My William Dike, b. 1863, Il. was with his father C.G. Dike in Ky. in 1880. I cannot find them in an 1870 census. Christopher Dike should have been in Il in 1870 with a wife Margaret and 1 other child, Jesse b. 1868, Il. Another child, Lena, was born in 1872, Il. so they must have been in Illinois somewhere. In 1880 there was a Rebecca Jones and her son living with them. Is there a connection between her and the Cordelia Jones who married Aaron Dyke?
Linney Dike married Thomas J. Freeman in 1888, Il. and she listed her parents as Christopher Dike and Margaret Gunter. I did find a Christian Dyke m: Miss Margaret L. Workman but the record doesn't state their parentage or much else. I am intrigued and confused by this extended family of mine. Please help!!! Janice
