The Dikes/Dykes came, from England, into the Massachusetts Bay Colony in the late 1600's, on the shop "Ann". Anthony Dyke was the immigrant ancestor. Your Abigail Dike was the daughter of Zoraster Robert and Amanda (Eaton) Dike. Abigail married her cousin, Myron/Almiron Dike. They resided for years in the old town of Sterling, in the area that became Morristown. Zoraster and Amanda were my 5th great grandparents. Their daughter Flavilla, married Milo Shippey, their daughter Hattie married Benjamin Leach, who were parents to my grandmother, Blanche Leach Adams. I have quite a bit of info on this family. If you want, e-mail me at dlfrench41@aol.com and I'll share more info with you.
