The only information I can find on the children is an 1871 census on William Dyke
William Dyke Head Married 36 Glover
Born Milborne Port
Amelia Wife Married 34 Dressmaker
Born Dorset, Stalbridge
Charlotte A Daughter 2
Born Dorset, Stalbridge

There are several Dykes in Milborne, so I am not sure how they are related exactly. On top of it, Stalbridge has several. Conjecture is at this time, that the Stalbridge group is related to the Milborne Group. Look how your William married a woman from Stalbridge.

My Hannah Dyke is born in Stalbridge. I am going to go into the Stalbridge records at some point in the future.

The parish records for Milborne Port are illegible in some places and missing some years. I have one more film to read, but unsure if it will shed further information. Will let you know.
We just have to keep plugging away and sharing what we have.
