This may muddle the picture for you, but isn't that the case with genealogy.
I must tell you that I couldn't read all of the film. I hoping the last film will help.
I have 2 baptisms:
28 June 1825 Elizabeth Dyke daughter of William and
(unsure) Dyke
1826 (possibly Sylvannus) son of William and
(unsure) Dyke
There is a William Dyke and Hannah Dyke on the 1871 Charlton Hawthorne Census, but they were born in Charlton Hawthorne

In 1825 the tax records list Sylvanius Dyke. He is the only Dyke, except for George that year.

Have you checked the free BMD to see what deaths are under Sylvannus? I know it starts at 1837, but it has given me some information.
