Thanks for the response. I hope, maybe, to get verification or disproof of the Alexander-Dysart marriage and, if so, whether the bride was sister to my James Alexander.
I believe that my wife's James Dysart was the older one, the uncle who married a Young and had a son named James Young Dysart. If our records are correct, not only was the father killed in the Cowan's Ford battle, but also one of his sons died in battle the same day.
