Any Dysslin Descendants Out There?

Greetings Dysslin Descendants,

I requested the addition of the Dysslin name hoping to find out more about The Reverend John H.Dysslin. My great great grandmother was Elizabeth Dysslin who married Christopher Klock. She was born 1797 at St. Johnsville, NY. I don't have a marriage date for them. She died in 1855. Her parents were John Dysslin and Anna Klock. John Dysslin, according to a posting on LDS Ancestral File, was born 16 Dec 1762 in NY. He married Anna 2 Sep 1791 in Fort Plain and died 6 Mar 1815 in St. Johnsville, NY. He is said to be of Swiss descent, but I have not been able to link him to anyone on the IGI. I'd love to hear from anyone researching this branch of the family.

Jane Platt
