Eachus? My Grandfather was GERMAN ?

I am 34 and my Great Grandmother told me that my Great Grandfather was from Germany.
She even had some pictures of him on a farm there. He moved to Montgomery County Pa.
I am sorry I do not know the year. I am looking into the family name but cannot find ANY reference to EACHUS in Germany.
