Brian, I must have some dates wrong because wasn't Dr Joseph Eachus born in 1911? I show Joseph Jerome was born June 24, 1853 in Ohio and died Jan 11, 1905 in Mo when fell off roof while shoveling snow. He was married to Mell or Mellard and three children,Gillett,Roy and Hazel and they were either born or went back to Anderson Indiana. Don't know birth date of Gillett but since Joseph Jerome died at about 22 years old don't see how he could be the father of Joseph , born 1911. Seems like she would have remarried and children would have different last names. lewis and Mary went to Adrian Mo in about 1872 and that is where I was born. 3 generations of Eachus are buried in church cemetery in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bates County Mo and there is an infant tombstone but don't remember seeing Joseph Jerome's.Harrison, brother of Lewis went to California and is buried in National Cemetery, LA. Maybe Jim has different dates.
