I am a Software Engineer, and I have been working on the site GeneTree.com. It is similar in many ways to Geni.com, but better implemented in many ways (in my opinion).
I no longer work there, and I am NOT trying to sell anyone on the site. But in fact most features (except for DNA testing) are free, and there is a very nice interactive family tree builder.
I would like to construct a visual family tree for the Eachus family. The site also allows photos, videos, etc. to be attached to people in the tree. There are some very nice features, and it also supports Gedcom import.
Anyone interested?
Also, Michael Eachus has the "each.us" domain name registered, but he has not been doing anything with it. I have been trying to talk him into letting us use that domain for a family website. Anyone else interested in helping me persuade him? I could understand if he had something under construction, but as far as I have been able to tell he has just been sitting on the name.
