Eli Eacott was Master of the Warminster Union Workhouse from 1835 to 1837 when he resigned due to ill health. He then took up the post of Porter and his wife Mary became the Assistant Matron. I have not found any records of Eli's birth as yet, nor his marriage to Mary. Does anyone have them in their database?
