My Rev. James Edens came to what is now Carter Co, Tennessee by the 1770's or 1780's and was the minister at old Sinking Creek Baptist Church(the oldest church in the state?). He may have married in Virginia but he spent most of his adult life in Carter County, Tennessee. Its possible he served at Kings Mountain in the Rev. War. Your names are not familiar to me.
