Kathy,

I just joined the web site and saw your 2004 message. I have information provided by my aunt - Minnie Eades Hartson.

She writes that our line comes through Drury Eades b. 1774 d. 1862. His father being Carroll Eades b. 1752 d. "between 1820 - 1830" in Muhlenberg Co, Kentucky. According to her notes, a descendant of Carroll's son Samuel, found Carroll's grave in 1895 in Muhlenberg County. It was on a farm and marked with a sandstone tombstone - Carroll Eades d. 1822. It was badly eroded at that time (1895). Since then the area was coal strip mined and the stone has vanished.

My aunt lists Carroll Eades' father as Thomas Eades but in her notes this is "Generation #1" of her study and I have no additional notes.
