My 3rd great Grandfather was James Eadie (1828 -)
He married Jane Burden in 1856
Their children were:
William (1856 -)
Helen(1858-)
John(1859-)
Robert(1860-)
James(1863-)

William married Margaret McKinlay(1858-) in 1879
Their children were:
James (1880-1890)
David(1882-)
Jessie(1884-1956)
William(1888-1913)
George(1890-)
Margaret(-1947)

Jessie married Willam Marshall Anderson(1880-1915) in 1902
Their children were:
Margaret McKinley Anderson(1903-1943)
Elizabeth Marshall Anderson(1906-1982)
Alexander Anderson(1908-1974)
Jessie Eadie Anderson(1911-1988)
Williamina Anderson(1914-1915)

William was killed in WWI. Jessie remarried in 1916 to Peter Maxwell (1870-1958)
They had more children:
William Maxwell(1817-)
Mary Dobie McKinley Maxwell(1919-1997)

The combined Maxwell/Anderson family emigrated to Australia in abt 1927/28.
