He married Jane Burden in 1856

I have a James Eadie in my Family:
Parents- William Eadie and Mary Stewart. Williams Father was John Eadie and his Mother Mary Paton. Mary's Father was Daniel (?) Stewart and her Mother Isobel Nicolson. I have not confirmed this parentage on purchase of GRO Edinburgh transcripts as yet.
Children to William and Mary:
Ann, Andrew , James (1827 ish), John, Mary, Robert, William and Andrew. Ann married into the Burden Family. Directly into my own Burden, Bannatyne. Did James. The Burdens and the Eadies were brewers. If you'd like assistance, I have some GRO Edinburgh dates from this part of my Family. Sorry I can't send originals.
