Louisa Jane Eads could have been born in Texas. Some of the Eads's (Edd's) went there but returned, about this period of 1881. Never heard of that. Her parents are included in the 1880 Federal Census in Maries County, MO. I know a few things about her, for the little farm where she lived is about one mile from me. First, her first husband was Frank L. French. She is buried beside him, in the Waidelich Graveyard, off Highway "V," in Maries County, Mo. Frank L. French was born 1874 and died 1919. She married James Briggs (Jimmie) second and I know that they were together in the thirties and forties, but I don't recall where he died or when. May see someone who knows soon. He is at the point of death, however, and he may not be able to talk to me. Lou's parents were William Simpson (Boler) Eads and Lydia Helton. Her father was born Jan., 25, 1851, and died April 5, 1915. Her mother was born May 23, 1854 and died in 1938, in Missouri, Maries County. They were married November, 1865. There is much more information on the Eads (EddS) family amd way too much to write here. Lou's father was my great-uncle William Simpson (Boler) Eads. Did we not correspond about Laura Emory? She married Lou's brother, James Moses (Mick). Sincerely, Louise DeHart
