I don't believe the CA Granville Eades is the same md to Lucinda Sappington. Missouri Death Records has him as:
Granville O. Eads, 78y b.KY d.9/5/1884 6am Kirkwood(Hosp) St Louis, cause: Apoplexy(cerebral) bur: Oakridge

From Gatewood Family Bible I have, Granville O. Eads, born May 19, 1806 d. Sept 6, 1884 md July 16, 1829, Lucinda Sappington, born Nov 2, 1809 d. Sept 15, 1886 Carondolet Twp, St Louis, MO
Their dau Armilda J.Eades, md Edward Gray, Mar 25, 1853, they had 3 children, Martha Ellen, William, and Jesse. Martha Ellen Gray, b. 1853, MO d.Jan 28, 1941,OK married Mar 11/17, 1875 Shelbyville,MO, John Wadsworth Gatewood b. Feb 5, 1850, MO died July 4, 1934 bur I00F Cem Shelbyville, MO.
**I just started Eads/Eades and would like to hear from anyone researching this family, I believe Granville's parents from WV/KY, will post other dates and names on seperate post.
