I have this on them in my data base, wish it was more. Hope it helps.
Augustine was found as Austin several places. He is the son of Thomas Bailey Eads/Edds and Sarah "Sallie" Davenport.
Austin/Augustine was born Aug. 15, 1794 in Bedford Co., Va.
He married Frances, 1816, Bedford Co, Va.
He may have had more than 1 marriage, or at least more children since he m: in 1816 and the first child I have for him is 1832.
Children:
William, b: ca 1832 --no data--
Ellen, b: ca 1834 --no data--
Caswell, b: 1836, Ky. & d: Aug. 15, 1917, Southgate, Campbell Co., KY. He married Nancy Margaret Dial, ca 1860, Ky. She is buried Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, Campbell Co., KY. Have been told he is too.
Augusta, b: ca 1838 --no data--
I researched them trying to find the parents for our Isham/Isom Edds/Eads, b: 1800, KY and d: ca 1865, Lawrence Co., Indiana. He m: Elizabeth "Betsy" Sowder, 1816 in KY.
In the Land Records for Lawrence Co, In. (1834), there is also a Thomas I. Edds and a Joshua Edds that I think has to be related to Isham, (bros.?) as they all bought land at the same time and it all adjoins. There is also a William buying land a few years later, which I think is Isham's son.
I'm waiting now for books I purchased from Lawrence Co. Historical Soc. on Land Records and Census to further the search.
If anyone has info on my Isham Eads, please contact me.
