Married in KY then abt 1870 moved to Floyd County, Indiana settling in New Albany. He came to Floyd County because of the Mills that lined the waterfront above the Ohio River. He worked at the Cotten Mill.

In the New Albany Daily Ledger pg 5 col 6 , Oct 31, 1892 gives her last name as "Walton". They were married by Rev Charles Hutchinson of New Albany. Found a obit for a Elizabeth K.
