we have traced the line back to 1731 with the presence of Samuel Eads being born on the eastern shore of Maryland. The progeny of the union was William Lovern (Lewis) Eads who settled in what came to be known as West Virginia on Eads Mountain. He married Elizabeth Douglas and they had approximately 5 children. James Douglas, Agnes Johnson, Archibald Douglas, Joseph Douglas and Rebecca. I will be glad to share any information I have in return for good and documated information on the family.
