Hi,
My sister and I are researching our family tree. We have some info on our moms side, but nothing on our dad. We know he was born in 1914 to William Eads/Eades and Ola Mae (West). He was born, we think, in Smithville, Mississippi. He had one brother, Clinton and a sister, Verbie, who died giving birth in about 1920? We believe she was 19-20 years old. If anyone can help us we would appreciate it. My mother used to mention that my dad would talk about visiting relatives in Alabama as a child. He grew up in northeastern Mississippi. The reason I am spelling his name Eads/Eades, is on his army papers from WWII they spelled his name Eads. So we are wondering where and when that extra e showed up.
