My name is Sid Dillabough, My Great Grandmother's name was Mary Eady. She was born May 6 1884 in Renfrew North of the Ross Township. Her Father & Mothers names were Thomas and Ellen, Bothers and sisters as of the 1901 Ontario Census were: George, Elizabeth,Henry, Delmal A (?) female, Florence, Lillie, Allen, Harvey, Caloin (?) male, John R.
Mary married John Gilbert Lafurgey on Sept 18 1901 in Cobden of the County of Renfrew, Ontario witnessed by Sidney Williams & Jenlinia Holt and Rev. G.E. Loughheed presiding as minister.
They came to Manitoba the Bethany district (Minnedosa) in 1924 children:
Ida (oldest) Passed away
Harvey Passed away
Edna
Marion
Ellen & Margaret (TWINS) My grandmother is Margaret, sadly she passed away October 29 2000
Allan Passed away
Irene
George (?) died at the age of 6
William (?) accident - fell over a chair
My Grand mother and her twin sister were name after the two Grandmothers Ellen Eady & Margaret Lafurgey
My Great Grandfather John Gilbert Lefurgey passed away due to illness on April 22,1928.
I believe that Thomas's Father And Mother were George and Catherine. Brothers and Sisters Charlotte, Leah, William, Joharmah (?) female, John
The Lafurgey side I know nothing about other than My Great Grandfathers parents name's were James and Margaret her maiden name is Melley and parents name are John & Sarah Melly
I hope this helps some people and I hope I can get further info for my grandmother's remaining sisters
