My Great-grandmother was Alice (somethimes Agnes)Annie HOPKINS, nee EADY born approx 1876 in Reading Berkshire.
Her parents are William and Harriet EADY and she had a sister, Elizabeth.
On the 1891 census, 'Agnes' is shown living with Harriet and Elizabeth with William who shows himself as a widower!
I cannot trace anything for William (born approx 1845-1847)before the 1881 census. He was born in Oxfordshire - Henley.
He is shown as deceased in 1893 when 'Alice' got married to Thomas William Hopkins, when his occupation was given as 'Slater'.
I cannot find Harriet on the 1901 census, nor trace her death.
Elizabeth is shown living with her sister in 1901.
Any additional info would be gratefully received.
