Hi there,
I think my Dad was from Flint, Michigan. Is that near you? I can see where ann arbor is on the map. My daughter applied to and was accepted into the University of Michigan medical program. However, she has to decide between them and Harvard. I think she will choose Michigan. It would do us both good. Kids growing up today are too clingy and too over-protected by parents. They have forgotten how to play in the sand, build forts, and play hide and seek in the neighborhood. Too much tv and video / pc games.
I do not ever remember an Uncle George being mentioned. My Mom never talked about my Dad after he left. She eventually got remarried and my stepdad became my dad. As I said, we never kept in touch with family from my real Dad's side. Sorry I can't be much help.
We may or may not be related. But I have not run across another Eady so this was fun.
Tell me more about yourself. Do you like Michigan? I have only been to the Grand Rapids area. It was OK. We have a summer home in North Carolina near Asheville. We just love it. Plan to retire there in about 3 years. My husband would love to be out west, like in Montana, but I hate the cold.
