Hello Clarence,
My branch of the family is Eddie (still pronounced like Eadie). We recently moved to the Renfrew area. Of course I heard about the large number of Eadys in the area, and coincidently, Breen is my Grandmother's maiden name - so I think there should be a connection there somewhere. I did hear about the family reunion in 2006, but unfortunately after the event. I have our branch back to Francis Eddie b. 27 Jan 1692 in Arbuthnot, Kincardine, Scotland. I have been advised that Eddie, Edy, Eady, Eadie, etc. are all related in some way - do you know anything about this?
