Trying to research family history on mother's side. All we have is:
Sarah Egan born June 1842 married Hugh Mooney born January 21, 1837 adn died nov. or Mar of 1901. I believe that their children were Annie, Hugh, Marie, Charlie, Vincent and Rita. Hugh (son of Sarah and Hugh) was Hugh Vincent Mooney born in 1876 adn died in 1932. He married Catherine Spratt born in 1882 and died in 1947. they had a son named Hugh Patrick Mooney, which was my grandfather. I won't go any further. Now it is said that either Hugh (b1837) or Hugh Vincent Mooney (b1876) came from Tipperary Ireland. Hugh Vincent and Hugh Patrick apparently have shamrocks all over their headstones with 'Tipperary' written all over it. Anyone having information of any kind, please contact me or direct me.
