I have Charles Eagerton, one of 12 children born to William Eagerton (or Edgerton) and his wife Alice. My ancestor is Charles' brother, William, born September 23, 1774 in North Carolina, moved early to Marion County, S.C., died April 25, 1855 in Liberty County, Fla, buried in Rock Bluff Cemetery. William's wife was Mary Ann Munnerlyn. William and his family, his brother-in law, Charles Munnerlyn and his wife, and Mary Ann's sister, Anne, and her husband, Gospero Sweet, all migrated to Gadsden County about 1830/31. Both Charles Munnerlyn and Gospero Sweet appear to be Methodist ministers.
