After responding to your posting, I poked around this forum and found some other references to Eagles in NS. Apparently the Eagles ancester to the region came from England in 1749 so he was not a native. None mentioned your person but there was mention of a Matilda Dennison that was half Mic Mac. This person was married to Augustus Eagles. This might be your connection. Do a search on NS in this forum and you may get some leads. Good Luck.
