Eagle name at Clontibret, Co. Monaghan, Ireland

The Churches of Legnacreeve / Braddox also the Parish Church of Clontibret contain many Eagle names - presumably they settlede in the area - a Townland called "Scotch Corner" seems to point to a large number of Presbyterian families (Eagles included) who came here in the 1700s & founded several Churches in the area. The Records of all North Monaghan Churches are now available on CD to facilitate those who cannot visit & search for their Ancestors
