I have a William Francis Eagles, son of George Eagles and Charity Low, who was born Sep 26, 1926 in Pennsylvania. He married Jane Mariah Butts, dau. of Solon R. Butts and Rebecca C. Wood abt. 1874 in Emporia, Kansas. Children were Arthur, George, Lillian, Frank, Charles and Daisy. Solon Butts died in Michigan about 1854 and his wife Rebecca married secondly Jacob Bigelow in Hamburg, NY. They had two children, George and Ella. The family relocated to Emporia, Lyon, Kansas where they appear in several federal and state census records. The family moved to North, Dade, Missouri. Jane Butts Eagles last appears in the 1920 census as a widow living with her son Frank and family in North, Missouri.
