Looking for anyone with information regarding Ella Veronica Holmes or Eagleson in the Boston area. Ella may have been born Holmes then adopted by Eagleson or the other way around. Documents have each name as a maiden name. Ella quite possibly played with the Boston Symphony in the 1890s. She was an accomplished pianist. The man who raised her was known as "Big Jim" and was wealthy. Her mother may have died when she was young and her mother's sister took over Ella's care. Ella married Calyx (or Calys) Fontaine. Ella was born in 1873 and died in 1952. Any help would be appreciated.
