Charles Eagleson is in my line of ancestors. His son Charles Jr. married Agnes Gamble (her surname from death certificates of her children)abt. 1834. They had 7 children that I can identify: Agnes b. abt 1834; Charles b. abt. 1836; Sarah b. abt. 1838; Thomas R. b. 21 Oct 1840; John b. about 1843; William b. abt. 1845 and Emily b. abt. 1848. My ancestor is John. m. Catherine foly bef. 1868. They had 3 children: Charles b. 12 aug 1868; Dorothy b. 27 Dec 1870 and John b. 1874. Dorothy was my maternal grandmother. She m. 24 Dec 1894 Lewis James Wright.
Thomas R. Eagleson, s/o Charles and Agnes, b. 21 Oct 1840 New York City, d. 1 Jun 1898 Staten island, Richmond, new York, was a famous actor in his day. His stage name was Thomas Wallace Keene. (His daughter Agnes took the stage name for regular usage -- on her death certifcate it lists her father as Thomas W. Keene.)
