Joseph Eaker was born in 1803 in Pennsylvania. He moved to Champaign County, Ohio and is in the 1830 census there. He is also on the 1835 tax rolls and in the 1840 and 1850 census in Champaign County, Ohio. After that, he disappears. He was married to Rebecca and had children Elizabeth, Mary, William, Joseph (my direct ancestor) and Laury. Joseph Jr. was born in 1840 and died in 1897 in Huntington County, Indiana. The spelling of Eaker is also reflected in various forms including "Ecker" and "Eker". Any information would be appreciated.
