Dewey Eaker genealogy (and Shell connection)

Greetings, all:

My mother's maiden name is Mary Ellen Eaker (b. Granite City, IL); her father's name was Dewey Eaker. Some of Dewey's siblings (that I know of are) Herbert Eaker, Ruth Eaker/Proffer, Hollie Eaker/James, and Joe Eaker. Joe Eaker married Sadie Laury (or Lowery?); their daughter's name is Jowina Eaker who married Silas Shell. BTW - Is Silas' side any kin to Lorena Shell Eaker?

Additionally, my great grandparents' (Dewey's parent's) names were Sherman T. Eaker and Emma Idella Fowler. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
